Mom & Pop Art Shop Prepares To Unbox Seasonal Offers On Saturday

The Mom & Pop Art boutique in La Pointe kicks off the holiday season this weekend with the first of a series of seasonal activities for the shopping public.

This Saturday, November 20 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., the art store will launch the “Oh Hello” art exhibition featuring new works of art created by Julian Quayle and Aimee Alexander which will be on display until mid- January. Prior to the show’s launch, Rich City Rides will be outside the store offering their “Roadside Bike Repair” from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Arts of Point Richmond (AOPR) will also be outside the boutique with a membership table on Saturdays November 20, November 27, December 4 and 11 so artists can become members and be part of the art shows at come as the AOPR Group Art Show on February 12, also a ‘Bring Love Back’ fundraiser for Skytown Preschool.

The following week will mark the start of Small Business Saturday Winter Wonderland, where pop-ups from local vendors will be available with a range of gift options every Saturday until Christmas: Saturday November 27, December 4. December 11 and 18. A Mom & Pop Art Shop Mini Art Show will also debut on November 27th. Music will be provided by Skycopter.
